Tips Burn Off Most Popular Junk Foods

Did you have a situation when a nutrition label has stopped you from consuming a bag of potato chips? What if instead that nutrition calories label, you see written the minutes you have do exercises in order to burn those chips off? Scary, isn’t it?

Most Popular Junk Foods

In order to figure out how horrible our junk food choices are, we made a list of 8 most popular junk foods in States. Starting from the Big Mac of McDonald’s to KFC chicken, take a look at the following 8 most popular junk foods and subsequently, the minutes of exercise you’d need to do so to burn them off.

1. McDonald’s Big Mac

It has 24 g of fat and 490 calories, meaning ¼ of your recommended daily consumption. In order to burn this off, you will have to do 40 minutes of cardio, or approximately an hour of weight training.

01

2. McDonald’s French Fries

One large French fries portion from McDonald’s contains 22 g of fat and has 460 calories meaning approximately ¼ of your recommended consumption on a daily basis. In order to burn this off, you will have to do 40 minutes of cardio, or around an hour of weight training.

02

3. Coca-Cola Can (330ml)

One coke can doesn’t contain any fat but it has 139 calories. In order to burn it off, you will have to do around 15 minutes of cardio exercises, or approximately 20 minutes of weight training.

If you buy a big menu from McDonald’s (which will include a Coke, Big Mac, and French fries), you will need 2 hours in order to burn it off. It won’t be an easy task, will it? In addition, the calories you will receive from this menu will not keep you full for half a day.

4. Pizza Express Margherita

One Pizza Express Margherita contains 22 g of fat and it has 682 calories. That means more than a ¼ of the recommended daily consumption. If you want to burn this off, you will have to do 60 minutes of cardio, or approximately 90 minutes of weight training.

04

5. 3 Pieces of KFC Kicken

Three pieces of KFC chicken will give 42 g of fat and 726 calories to your body. It’s way too much fat for a meal. In order to burn all of this, you will have to do approximately 75 minutes of cardio, or 100 minutes of weight training. I doubt you can find a KFC menu with 3 pieces, so there is definitely more calories to be added. If you take a medium KFC menu (medium French fries portion, 5 chicken pieces, 400 ml of coke, and a sauce) it will cover almost the entire amount of calories intake on a daily basis. Besides, you will have to live the remaining part of the day without eating anything more. Could you do that?

05

6. Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Bar (45g)

This contains 14 g fat and 237 calories. It’s too much fat for such a small snack. In order to burn this off, you will have to do 30 minutes of weight training or 20 minutes of cardio.

06

7. Stella Artois Beer (1 Pint)

1 pint of beer doesn’t contain any fat but it has 245 calories. So, be careful how many beers you would drink and limit the number of beers to 1-2 pints. In order to burn off just a pint of beer, you will have to do 30 minutes of weight training or 20 minutes of cardio.

07

8. Tesco Chocolate Fudge Cake (450g)

This cake is a real caloric bomb. It has 90 g fat and 1710 calories, which is more you’re your recommended intake on a daily basis. In order to burn all of this, you will have to do 4 hours of weight training or 3 hours of cardio.

I really hope you will think twice next time you decide on junk food, since you know how much exercises you need to do in order to burn off them.
